Tsurumi pumps are designed to prevent overheating during dry running and protect their sealing surfaces from damage. This allows them to operate reliably around the clock, even when water levels are low. For continuous operation, however, energy efficiency is also an important consideration. That is why Tsurumi offers contractor pumps equipped with electronic level control. The pumps start automatically when the water reaches a predefined level and switch off again as soon as the water level drops below it. This ensures that the pumps only operate when they are actually needed.
The LB-480A and LB-800A single-phase slurry pumps, as well as all models in the three-phase KTVE and KTZE series, feature electrode level switches and integrated control relays. The relays start and stop the pumps based on the conductivity of the water, providing reliable automatic operation. Compared with float switches, electrode level switches require less installation space and offer a high level of operational reliability. Alternatively, the pumps can also be controlled using a float switch.
